Chronicle Full Page Spreads
Full page spreads are mostly used in the Arts & Life section of the newspaper. This allows for more creativity to highlight the main point of an article, by adding typography, graphics or images. This gallery shows full page spreads that I enjoyed designing the most this past academic year. Featured are images I took from the haunted trail in Wallingford, CT and my stress relief article with original graphics.
Chronicle Double Page Spreads
Double page spreads, or double trucks, are designed to showcase a big event on campus or an elaborate article. “Inhaling the truth” double truck was during the increased growth of juuling and original graphics created by me. “Covers and country” was Quinnipaic’s annual Fall Fest featuring this years artist.
Chronicle Half Page Spread
The Quinnipiac Chronicle uses it’s half page spreads to highlight infographic numbers or statistics, usually on their front cover. Arts & Life is a more magazine aesthetic, its pages are designed weekly. Featured are infographics for the front covers and typography for “Car smash” and my photo.
